Youth Groups

We combine Junior and Senior High Sunday School, studying the same curriculum as the rest of the church, Feasting on the Word. Then select relevant, topical studies for our young people, helping them grow in the faith by providing a safe place to study, learn, ask tough questions, and fellowship with other United Methodist youth. Oh, and we have plenty of fun, too!

Youth Ministry

UMYF

Our United Methodist Youth Fellowship (UMYF, grades 6 – 12) offers young people a chance to explore and grow in their faith, connect with other Christians, ask the tough questions, and honor God with their life.

Each Wednesday evening we gather at 6pm, share a meal, then engage in a program that deals with the Bible, theology, and Christian living. On Sunday evenings we meet from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Katie Eubank is our Director of Youth Ministries, and she has a passion for helping young people nurture their discipleship.

Youth Ministry

Aside from Wednesday and Sunday programs, our youth take an annual mission trip, working as the hands and feet of Christ in the world. Last year, the group traveled to Oklahoma. This summer, they will join with others in the church to assist at the UMCOR Sager Brown Distribution Center in Lousiana.

Additionally, our youth serve in areas of leadership throughout the church, leading worship periodically throughout the year, serving on the church leadership council, and running our sound for Sunday worship.

Come and see what we’re all about, or contact Katie for more information.
