Kyla was born in California, grew up in southern Texas and rural Virginia, and returned to Texas in 2015. She is currently working on a BA for Music Education with a teaching certification at Midwestern State University. Kyla sings in the University choir and has been apart of both instrumental and vocal ensembles throughout her coursework. In addition to conducting and playing clarinet, Kyla enjoys spending time at home with her dog Pugslie, cooking and antique shopping with her husband. Kyla is looking forward to working with the choir and inspiring worship through music with the people of Henrietta.
Laura has just retired from Public Education after 31 years of service. The last 17 years Laura taught Pre-K at Henrietta Elementary School. Laura will be leading the preschool as the director as well as teaching one of the three day classes. Mrs. Hill graduated from Midwestern State University with a major in Bachelor of Science of Interdisciplinary Studies and a minor in English. Mrs. Hill also has a certification in Early Childhood and Generic Special Ed. Her certification allows her to teach Pre-K thru 8th grade.
Laura is married to her husband Eddie and they have three grown children, Brett and daughter in law, Crysta, Heath, and Megan. Mrs. Hill has served on various committees for her church. Her hobbies include reading and playing golf when she can.

During the week, Mary is a professor at Midwestern State University, where she has done pioneering work Masters of Special Education program, specializing in the area of dyslexia. On Sunday mornings (since 1978!), she blesses us with her musical gifts.
This will be the third year Heather Dillard has been with our program. Heather grew up in Wichita Falls where she graduated from Rider High School in 1998. She moved to Henrietta in 2000 to start a family and is married to Danny Dillard. They have two boys, Westin (13) and Brayden (7). The boys attend school in Henrietta and are active in Band, UIL, Theater, and sports programs. As a family, they enjoy spending time together camping, hunting, fishing, and attending shows at the Wichita Theater. They are members of FUMC Henrietta where Heather enjoys teaching Sunday School and directing VBS. She has seen God’s plan for her and is currently attending Vernon College to receive her degree in Early Childhood Education.
